Livestock
Show

This Saturday, May 9, at the
Comanche Count Fairgrounds 4-
H'ers from Comanche County,
along with youth from the neigh-
boring area, will converge to par-
ticipate in the Annual Comanche
County Spring Livestock Show.
The swine show will get un-
derway at 10 a.m. starting with
the prospect barrows and fol--
lowed by the prospect market
gilts. The swine show will then
be followed by Showmanship.
Thirty minutes after the swine
show, the lamb and goat show
will be begin. Prospect lambs fol-
lowed by sheep showmanship
will be first.
We will then follow the sheep
show with the prospect goat
show and wrap the morning up
with goat showmanship.
We will then take a one hour
break before the beef show kicks
off. The beef show will start with
the bucket calf, followed by beef
showmanship.
Concluding the day, will be
the breeding heifer show fol-
lowed by the Prospect Market
Beef Show.
The Annual Spring Livestock
Show provides a good warm-up
for both the livestock and the
young exhibitors in getting
ready for the Comanche County
Fair.
